Workspace is a business suite designed to help organizations grow efficiently. It includes features such as electronic document management (EDM), employee management (HR), and tools for handling contracts and accounting documents like invoices, checks, bank statements and etc. Workspace was developed to support medium and large enterprises, as well as government agencies.

At the beginning, I didn’t have much time to carefully consider the design, as the company was a fast-paced startup where every hour counted. I was tasked with completing a UI kit (based on Element Plus) and two pages within five days. I also had an assistant—a UX design intern who had just joined the company and were already busy with HR-related tasks. I needed to design the UI kit so he could use it effectively. I was given wireframes by the management, the first iteration of interfaces was delivered in time, but it wasn’t tested because the management didn’t allow it.

I was working with document manager and HR methodologist document to achieve our common goals. Almost all of the tasks we were given had tight deadlines, so we had to design very quickly.

I was given one week to complete the screens. We decided to focus on including the core document-related functionalities in the initial release.
